How to install the app

  1. On your Android device, tap “Download APK”.
  2. Open the file from the notification or the “Downloads” folder.
  3. The first time, Android asks whether your browser may install apps: turn on “Allow from this source” and go back.
  4. Tap “Install”. If Play Protect shows a notice, choose “Install anyway”.

Company devices with device management (MDM) often block installs from outside Google Play. Your IT can then distribute the APK itself, for example as a private app through Managed Google Play.

Without installing: add to home screen

  1. Open rentalhandover.com/app in Chrome and sign in.
  2. Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right, then “Add to Home screen” or “Install app”.
  3. RentalHandover then starts from the home screen in full screen, like an app.
